Falklands Air War - Argentinian

Last post I had the British here come the Argentinians.
I am in the process of writing some rules for them, almost finished, just having difficulty sorting out the harrier's special VIFF capability. Then off for a playtest before I release them on the world for free.

Falklands Air War - British

Another project i have recently completed is Falklands Air Wars. All aircraft are from Tumbling Dice, they are based on clear acrylic bases from Litko using the clear pegs glued to individual aircraft. That way I need far less stands than aircraft. My entire British aircraft force:
My favourite aircraft of all time, the Vulcan bomber. I had the privilege of working for a day on the Vulcan with the ground crew when i was an air cadet many years ago, at RAF Scampton.
Harrier
Next up the Argentinians.

15mm Sci fi Germans

For my opponents to my 15mm CMG Arc Fleet I've chosen Eureka Sci Fi Germans which are available in the UK from Fighting 15's. Again based on FOW style bases. The figures are in retro WW2 uniforms wearing respirators similar to Star Wars stormtroopers. This is my favourite figure the heavy weapons team.

CMG Arc Fleet Rifle Platoon

Another one of my projects is 15mm Sci Fi. I am basing all my figures on Warbases Flames of War bases that are cheaper than the FOW originals and you can pick them up easier as they are not bevelled.
Previously I had painted the Arc Fleet Recon platoon see my previous blog. Now is the turn of the rifle platoon from Critical Mass Games.

Kallistra Trolls

Finally got around to painting the Kallistra Trolls for my fantasy 10/12mm game. Nice figures.

The Thing

Recently came across this Nuton Cave Blog who has written a set of miniature rules for John Carpenters "The Thing" movie. He's even custom made some of the miniatures
